The girls and I trekked over 700 miles this weekend....all to see Jack (and Grammy, of course)! My mom has had Jack for a week while Dave is out of town and she will have him until this Wednesday. Yes, I really miss Jack, but it is so much of a help to have him at Grandma's when Dave is gone. Especially since I have been procrastinating some work I agreed to do for the Partnership. That I have not started. That is due this week. That I can't get motivated to do! I.must.get.it.done!!
We had a really fun weekend - it snowed "up north" and was just beautiful. On Sat. we went to Ashland to a horse & sleigh show. Isabel has a book, "Penny", that she received for her birthday and in it, Penny is a Shetland Pony. When they saw the Shetland ponies at the show, they thought they were the "cutest ponies ever".
Jack is big and happy and standing by himself for a few seconds at a time. And boy can he crawl fast when he wants something. NOTHING can be left on the floor or low shelf, except for toys, which are not as interesting as paperback books, a phone, his sisters' new toy mice, the dog's food, etc.

Happy Monday!

Did you get to take a sleigh ride? I bet your girls were so excited to see those ponies! And when I was a girl, I had a shetland named Penny! I didn't know there was a book!
