Cabana Boy & Christmas Fun

Jack enjoyed his first time in a pool over the Christmas break. He was a bit apprehensive at first, being "floated" around, but he liked it! On another water-related note, He loves taking baths, splashes like crazy and tries to climb around the tub. Nothing like a slippery baby trying to stand in the tub - it's amazing that he has not had any black eyes or cuts yet...(knock on wood...)

The girls had a blast at the pool - Isabel actually SWAM by herself - it was so cool, underwater and everything. Both girls enjoyed jumping off of the edge to Dave. He would hold out his arms at first for them to grab, but gradually stop until they were jumping to him without holding on!

The cousins were at the hotel and the little girls were all calling the rooms "apartments" (as in "Let's go to Lulu's apartment"). The four "bigger" cousins had a lot of fun playing Polly Pockets, reading, coloring, and playing with their new Christmas gifts.

It was a great Christmas with the Spillman's - everyone was together for the first time in a long, long time. Chaotic, yes - but that's what life is like sometimes! The last picture depicts what opening presents is like on my side of the family - TOTAL CHAOS! Everyone ripping and tearing and in their own little worlds! Quite the opposite of what happens at the Fields, which is much more "civilized"! It's great, though :)
