- That feeling of giddiness, excitement and wanting to call everyone you know when the test shows POSITIVE!
- The excitement that your friends and loved ones show when you tell them the news
- Seeing "nothing" develop into a miracle
- Seeing the heartbeat on ultrasound
- Hearing the heartbeat for the first time
- Buying the first baby item for each pregnancy...little dresses, little onsies
- When you move into maternity clothes and people (strangers) can see that you really are pregnant
- When people tell you how cute your belly is
- The feeling of being someone "special" when you are pregnant
- Giving into cravings, eating in the middle of the night
- Feeling the baby move (although sometimes this is freaky to me!)
- Someone else feeling the baby move
- Watching your body do what nature intended in order to sustain a life - all on it's own
- Meeting the new person that has been entrusted to you
- Naming that new little person
- Becoming a mother....again!

The Good Things About Being Pregnant
Since this is my last pregnancy, I thought I'd spend some time reflecting on the good things about being pregnant. For all of the complaining I've done during pregnancy, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a mother. So many women are unable to have children, and struggle with infertility and other issues that prevent them from conceiving or carrying a baby to term. For me, I've been blessed three times.

Love your list! My favorite is seeing the look on Matt's face the instant he meets our new baby...priceless and SO sweet :) It's fun to reflect on all the exciting *milestones* we look forward to, but once we hit them we take it for granted!
What about being able to get your husband to do almost anything you want by batting your eyes and rubbing your tummy. Seems to be a power I'd like to have.
By the way, you're beautiful & you're belly's cute...
Love you,
Your Husband
AWWWWW! (see above comment)
Thanks for your list, btw! You remind me that while I am complaining about an aching body and my clothes not fitting, I need to remember that the end result will far outweigh my complaints!
