I've been contemplating many things lately, and last nite I read an article that really stuck with me. Here is a portion, that deals with that "in-between" state:
"I realize that I had spent years living a kind of half life: half happy where I was, half wanting to be somewhere else; half enjoying the person I had become, half wanting to be someone completely different. I struck bottom when I realized there were only two or three areas in which my feelings were definitive - and one of them was designer shoes"........
This woman was talking about the decision to have a child - but I think you can apply it to anything - deciding a career, a place to live, etc. etc.
The author is Rebecca Walker and the article is in the April 2007 Issue of Child.

I just read that article! I loved it too! She made some really good points about making decisions and priorities.
