Isabel and Olivia love playing with their Calico Critter mice and hamsters and their little dogs. Yesterday Isabel found a cardboard piece (from a package) that was in the shape of a sign. She said to Olivia: "Look, now our mice can have a garage sale"!! "It has to be stuff they don't want anymore".
This morning I went into their room. Olivia was still sleeping but Isabel had all of the critters lined up to go to the sale.
I think I may be passing on a bit of obsession???!!!
On another topic, which is Mother's Day: I had Isabel working on a card for Grandma. I was telling her how it is important to think about how much you love and care for someone when making a card for them. I was trying to get her to understand that the thought that goes into a gift is just as important as the gift itself. She simply asks "Is there such thing as Daughter's day???" Sigh.
