With the girls, I was always excited for the next stage. With Jack, I notice that I try to hang on as much as I can. Knowing this is my last baby has made me want to savor the moment - maybe hold on a bit too long? He makes it difficult, though. He will probably be driving me to the grocery store by the time he is 18 months! ha ha.
I had some fun taking a few pictures on Saturday as Dave and the girls made Easter eggs. Today, the girls were excited for their baskets. They each received a pair of spring pajamas (which Lucy covered with fleece pjs because it is so cold!), seeds (sunflower, watermelon and green beans), and a horse book. Jack got a little dalmation stuffed animal to go with his 101 Dalmation prints that Dave made for his room. And candy. :) We had ham, potatoes, asparagus and rolls for dinner. I made a brown sugar & mustard glaze for the ham that turned out nicely! Jack ate the ham like he hadn't seen food in several days. Too funny!
Happy Easter!
