Going to the Nutcracker (with my little nuts)

This past weekend I was able to do a couple of fun things with the girls. On Saturday, I took them to see "Mr. Magorium's Wonderful Emporium". I think this was only the 2nd or 3rd movie we've been to in a theatre so it was a special treat. (It is hard to find good G rated movies these days).

Sunday was the REAL treat though! We went to The Nutcracker! It was WONDERFUL! The story, the costumes, the music, the performances! I'm so glad that Cristin invited us, because I had been thinking about it, but was too lazy or busy or whatever to actually make the plans. Celia, Isa & Olivia were all dressed up in dresses, tights and girly ponies. After the show, on our way out, the girls got to talk to a few of the characters - but the most impressive to them was the little mouse that said "hi". I have to say that the mice were adorable. My favorites, though, were the angels.

It is quite enjoyable to be able to do "grown up" things with the girls. And, Jack is still in baby mode - so I can get my baby fix for a little while longer, too!
