Apple Harvest Picnic

Today, the girls' school had an "Apple Harvest Picnic" at an apple orchard near Rochester. The weather started cold and stormy, but turned sunny and perfect around noon. The colors were beautiful - golds, greens, some reds - Fall is on its way. All in all, it was a good time - a little whining from the girls about walking back from the orchard (rather than riding the tractor)....my legs hurt, my legs are tired, etc. etc. That lasted until we found some grapes and they were distracted enough to forget about how tired their legs were. It wasn't a long walk at all - they just wanted to get back on the tractor! Here are a few pix:
