Here's to the Ears

Jack had ear tubes put in a few weeks ago. He has had so many infections, some of them really bad and resistant to meds. The procedure was quick - he was in and out in about 30 minutes! The hospital was like a little factory - all of the rooms filled up with waiting kids & their parents. It was a little unnerving to see Jack on the drugs. In a way, it was funny, like a drunk little dude. In another way it was disturbing - seeing your kid....high. After the procedure he was really unhappy, crying and inconsolable. We pulled him around in a little wagon and that calmed him down. He was laying there in a trance as we pulled him - and then just whimpered a bit when we would stop! He really did look like he had a rough nite of partying and we were his buddies dragging him home!

Here he is with Dave after we arrived home. This only lasted a few hours and then Jack was up and about and running around. I can't say the same for Dave. As you can see, he was more konked out than Jack.

Sounds like Jack is taking after his dad already. How long before he can do "the worm"?
