The store itself is huge, with 3 levels. My favorite part was the "historical level", which has all of the historic dolls (Isa has Felicity and Lucy has Elizabeth). You can see the dolls in their traditional clothes, view what a home or store or specific room would have looked like "back in the day". The other levels including SHOPPING (of course) and a little salon for dolls to have their hair done.
The girls each took some of their own money that they withdrew from their savings accounts to buy something special. They chose to get a cat (Licorice) and a dog (Coconut). I bought them a book and a puzzle set and Grandma & Granddad treated all of us to lunch at the Cafe. Lunch was so awesome! The restaurant is black & white & pink and just perfect for little (and big) girls! Everything is on china, with all of the proper place settings, cloth napkins, and "favors". Each table had a box with questions, so you could get to know each other better whle waiting to eat. The desserts were the best, though! A little flower pot filled with mousse (and a flower that the girls were able to keep), a heart-shaped cake and a flower-shaped cookie. MMMMMMMMM
It was such a great day! Granddad was our tour guide and made sure we got on the right trains & busses! I think we'll remember it forever!

It sounds like so much fun! No wonder Isa was ready to go by 6am :) I'm sure it is a memory you will all treasure together as a family. Beautiful pictures (as usual)!
