Well - today is the last day of peace and quiet around here for awhile. Had a bit of a scare when Isa called yesterday and said they might be home this morning....which would have meant that my day of "doing nothing" would have been lost - YIKES! Today I plan to be lazy and only take care of Jack, watch 2 NETFLIX movies, and read magazines and the paper. No chores today.
Yesterday Jack and I went to the Cities to hang out with Aunt Liz. Jack slept the entire way there, and slept/cried on the way home. The way home wasn't too bad, though - the crying didn't annoy me that much and he would sleep for a bit after a crying spell. While we were there, we looked at Aunt Liz's new apartment (very cute!) and then went to the Galleria to look around. This mall has a lot of children's shops (furniture, bedding, accessories) so it was fun to window shop. Liz and I really liked "Que Sera", which is a "shabby chic" inspired store with tons of beautiful things that we can't afford! We had a great lunch of snapper, salads and a strawberry shortcake dessert...yumm!
Well - it's now 6am and I have to see why Jack hasn't fallen asleep after this last feeding - probably has a burp that needs to get out - such a little man.
Wish me luck that Jack is happy today and keeps to a somewhat normal nap schedule!!
