Having Fun, But Tired!

The kids and I have been at my parents for the past few days. We've been having fun, but I am getting tired! Jack is still waking up around 2am every morning for a feeding - he'll be 11 weeks old on Tuesday so I hope that he will begin sleeping all night SOON!

The girls have been good for the most part, however, yesterday they were arguing a lot and if they weren't arguing, it seemed that I had to separate them because they were being wild. Today I thought it would be best to split up and let them have some time apart. Isabel and I went to Bayfield with the intention of doing a little bit of shopping and walking. When we came into town, we saw the Ferry to Madeline Island, so we decided to have an adventure and go to the island for lunch. The ride to the island and back was a lot of fun - Isa really enjoyed it. On the island, we walked around and visited a couple of shops and then had lunch and ice cream before heading back. One shop was called "The Third Sister" and it was an open-air shop (more like a tent, but the "walls" were decorated with fabrics, bags, hanging stars, and lights draped over log poles. There was a bubble machine blowing bubbles into the street, drawing us to this cute little hideaway (which was complete with a hammock). It was so cute!

Tonight we layed low and had dinner and watched a movie and read. And all three of the kids were finally asleep.
Olivia, taking a rare nap.

What a fun adventure with Isa! It's nice you are able to find some 1-on-1 time with your kids :) I hope your trip back to Rochester goes well!

Hey -- that squishy worm (at mom & dad's) looks familiar!! I think we must have left that there on our last trip! Madeline Island sounds nice & so does the blueberry picking.
