The girls and I are were on our own this weekend and we've been busy! They just went down for a nap and hopefully I've worn them out so that they sleep for a long time!
Yesterday, we went to see "The Zooman" (www.thezooman.com) at the library. He brought with him snakes, a lizard-thing, and a crazy bird. The kids loved him, I wasn't too crazy about all of those reptiles. Especially when he walked them through the crowd and had my ponytail flicked by a snake tail. However, it was very interesting and we had a good time. Then we hit Target for a little lunch at the cafe and some grocery (and shoe??!!) shopping. Found some summer sandals for the girls. Long and narrow for Isabel and short and wide for Olivia! ha ha.
Today, we went to the pool. The girls had a good time, and I, well, it was fun but tiring. Here are a few pictures from today.
In addition to what we've been doing together, I am working on painting one of our hallways. I got primer & a 1st coat up yesterday and maybe tonight I will get to the 2nd coat. Or maybe not. I'll post some pictures when I finish!
