We started the day at the library, picking out movies, books on CD and books for their trip to the shore. Then we headed to Subway for a bite to eat. We read one of the new library books over our brunch. Then we went to the movie. It was a great movie - so simple and sweet, but realistic, too. I love the American Girl series of characters. They take you through American history in a way that is wholesome yet kind of tough at times - they show you that at times you may struggle, but that the most important things are characteristics like honesty, compassion, fun, kindess. I loved being at the movie, snuggling with the girls and enjoying the time!
We finished our date with a trip to DQ!
Then back home for a nap (for me) and quiet time for them.
AND - Isa has lost 2 teeth in the last 2 days!!
AND....of course....I can't post w/out a picture!!! I took this one over the weekend at my parents house.
