We've been hanging in, working hard, and keeping busy the past few weeks!
Hanging In: I've been pretty sick for the past 12 or so days. Really run down, horrible cold, headaches, cold sore, etc. etc. I went to the Dr. last Monday for an OB check and she said if it hangs on for 10 or more days to come back. I did go back and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. So I got DRUGS! Just what this kid needs - more drugs! Between everything I've been taking, I hope he isn't an addict when he finally arrives! Of course, everything is dr. approved and "safe" - but still, no meds would be better than some meds.
Working Hard & Keeping Busy: I took the girls to Stillwater last weekend, to give Dave time to install a new water heater and rip up the carpet in Olivia's room and the upstairs hallway. My dad is working in Stillwater and had to work the weekend, so my mom came down, and my sister came over, and we all had a nice time. Stayed in a hotel with a really warm pool and the girls had a blast. Thankfully Liz and my mom were there, b/c with my cold I couldn't really take the pressure of being underwater.
Dave did get the water heater installed (with only 1 flaw.........I won't elaborate here.....but thankfully we have a friend in Brian Kreifels, who has come to my rescue on several occasions when Dave is out of town!)
This weekend we worked at home - on Friday we painted the upstairs hallway and trim. Dave had to sand and trim around all of the doors and then he got busy on installing the floors. I watched the girls all weekend while he worked upstairs - it looks awesome! The hallway and Olivia's room are finished - what is left is the linen closet and the trim. Then we can begin on getting the rooms setup. We might switch rooms so that Dave and I have Isabel's room and the girls get our room. There is a lot more room in ours - and with both girls moving in together, more space might equate to more sanity (on my part) and hopefully less arguing (on their part). We would put Olivia's bed and make her "room" in our big closet/room and Isabel would have her bed in our room. Then the other half of our room could be their play area. We'll see if we actually make that happen - it involves moving a lot of stuff and painting one more room!
Finally, Dave has to go out of town again this week. I think it is 3 or 4 weeks in a row that he has had to travel. UGH. Pregnant women shouldn't be left alone to ponder what *could* happen on planes, in airports, etc, etc.
I'll add some pictures tomorrow - I put braids in Olivia's hair on Friday - she always asks me to "give her some braids" but her hair was never really long enough. They looked so cute!
Anyway - this was a loooooong post - hope you haven't nodded off by now!

Olivia's braids are adorable!
Lucy's braids are SO cute! And I can't believe all you guys have gotten done around the house...especially with your nasty sinus infection! Can't wait to see it!
